Prinsengracht
Renovation of a Canal House | Amsterdam | the Netherlands
A stately property on an Amsterdam canal has been prepared for the next decade. In addition to a major renovation in the rich, original style, several spaces were developed in a contemporary manner, but with the same allure as the old building. The attic has been converted into a light guest apartment. In this open space ‘the block’, incorporating the kitchen, bathroom and storage space, provides a visual separation between living and sleeping.
